Shrinking Sally

I used to work with a gal years ago that was pretty heavy. She probably had about 150 pounds to lose. I hadn't seen her in a long time when I ran into her this week. She has lost a ton of weight! She had a lap band procedure done to help her and looks amazing! She told me a little about her surgery and it's interesting but scary to me.

Any surgery scares me. I won't lie I'm a baby when it comes to things like that. But the idea of having that big of a surgery really scares me! However, there is now a laproscopic lapband procedure that is less invasive. That isn't as scary to me.

If you go to journeylite.com you can learn a lot more about the procedure. Journeylite performs laproscopic lapband procedures at several different locations. So if you want you can go to central florida lapband and enjoy some time at the beach before or after your procedure. They have a ton of information on their website about it. It's pretty amazing what doctors can do now. I never would have guessed that type of procedure could be done so easily. Pretty amazing!

Paintball Knowledge

As you know my identity was stolen a couple weeks ago. As I've been sifting through all of the reports, transactions, and drama surrounding that I'm learning all kinds of things. I noticed some transactions related to paintball and I honestly don't know much about paintball so I've done some investigating. I wasn't sure what a couple of the things were that I alledgedly bought so I surfed the web until I figured out what each item was. Heck if I'm paying for it I want to know what it is right!

One thing I have figured out for sure is that there are a ton of paintball supplies out there! I had no idea how many different paintball guns there were, that there were so many different kinds of paintballs and that you could spend so much money on it. I actually am kind of interested in playing some paintball now.

I came across one huge online paintball store that is pretty impressive. Luckily for me there person that stole my identity didn't find this site. They could have had a hayday on here. This store sells everything from the spyder vs2 gun to paintball pants, gloves and neck protectors. They have Tippmann guns and extra parts. They even have reuseable paintballs! Who knew you could go green with paintball!!!

So if you need to shop for any paintball supplies they are the folks to visit. And if you have questions about paintball it's shocking but I might be the girl to ask.

Christmas Shopping

Yes you read that title right. I did actually type Christmas Shopping! Don't shoot me for mentioning it. My Dad and Cricket actually did all their Christmas shopping yesterday. Crazy I know! But they won't be back at their house until Christmas so they wanted to get it all done and have it all wrapped up before we all descend on their home in December. It makes sense actually and they don't have to fight the crowds.

For those of us that don't show months ahead of time but still want great deals CouponChief.com is the way to go. Since I'm on a budget this year I'm going to make a list of the people I need to buy for and what I want to get them. Then I'm heading over to Coupon Chief to see if I can find coupons for any of it. They have good coupons for both Gap and Old Navy which is good since I usually do a lot of my shopping at those two stores.

So I may not be ahead of the game and have all my shopping done like Dad and Cricket but at least I have a way to save a little money...

There Is Hope For Me Yet

I was talking to my Aunt Betty tonight and she was filling me in on the happenings in her life. One of the gals from her church is getting married soon. She is 83 years old and met her future husband when her first husband and his first wife were both patients in the alzheimers unit. They became friends and have now fallen in love and are getting married! How sweet is that!

I'm thinking that if she can find love at 83 in the Alzheimer's unit then there is still some hope for me out there! I shouldn't complain yet. I've still got quite a few years to go before I need to start worrying.

But her story got me thinking that there are probably a lot of older people that are single and looking for love again. If there isn't an Alzheimers Unit near by where do they go to find love? Well they might be able to use a senior personals or senior dating website. They can view profiles of other seniors and make connections with people that have the same interests. Who knows love can happen at anytime right...

Fire In My Eyes

This morning I got up and stumbled to the bathroom. I flipped on the lights and it was like fire in my eyes. I have a bit of a lighting dilemia in my bathroom. I went from not enough lighting to too much lighting. Now my lights are so bright I'm about blinded in the morning. And I've noticed that while I'm doing my makeup in the morning it's melting off my face from the heat. That's not a good thing people! I need some help!!!

So I was looking around online and found a great site to help me with my bathroom lighting problem. They have a large variety of lighting options and they even have an information guide to help folks like me that might make poor decisions! There may be help for my blinded eyes yet!

Let's Debate

I love politics. I always have. In fact I've been known to have election day parties and I always want my I just voted sticker. I love elections. And I so enjoy debates. My friends however do not love that I love politics. They get a bit annoyed by my reminders to go vote and my emails providing them information about the candidates.

So needless to say my friends aren't so willing to debate political issues with me. In fact I think they just wish I would shut up during campaign time. Since they don't want to debate with me I found a great website that is filled with people like me! People that actually do want to discuss politics with me. I could become addicted to site!!! The site simply promotes open straightforward political discussion and I love it. Go visit and let's debate!!!!

Paintball

It's been awhile since I've enjoyed some paintball. When I was in high school I played several times with groups of friends. We always had a great time but I always ended up getting hit way more than anyone else. I'm not the best at hiding I suppose.

Well the other day I saw that a paintball supply store was opening in town. I was shocked at the cost of paintball supplies. The prices they had advertised were really expensive! I don't know why anyone would spend that much money on items when they could shop online for discount paintball supplies. You can get discount paintball guns and discount paintball markers.

Ultimate Paintball has a wide variety of paintball products. They carry several top brands and various paintball guns. They also offer free shipping which make it an even better deal to shop online. Save the money and take the time to order online so you can get discount paintball goods and have a great time!

Yes the title says The Police but I'm not talking about cops folks! I'm talking about the band! Yeah you know them, you love them, and I'm guessing you missed them. I know that I have. But the great thing is they are back and they are touring and to get you ready they have a new police cd!

Fun Site

There is this great site called bid4prizes that cracks me up! They have all kinds of fun prizes and the kicker is that instead of the high bidder winning the lowest unique bidder actually wins the prize! That means that I would even have a chance and I never win anything!

One of the prizes right now is a BMW 3 Series. I would love to have that! I love my new car but seriously a BMW! I would love to be driving a BMW around town. No one would ever believe it. Right now the bidding for it is between 88-108 cents. So my unique low bid for a BMW would be a startling 92 cents! What do you think the chances are that I will win it? So go check out the site but don't be bidding against me on the BMW!

Earn More

I'm always looking for a way to save a buck or two. In fact my savings account is becoming more and more important as the time for a new baby draws closer. Kids are expensive and I'm trying to save as much as I can ahead of time to ease the burden. Well one way to make a little money on your savings is to look into online banking. Lots of online banking sites offer much higher interest rates than a traditional bank does. Since online banking is new to a lot of people there is a handy site out there that can help you find the best rates! Online banking interest rate comparisons at SavingsAccounts.com will help you find the best high yield online savings account or checking account. I've found the site helpful and the extra money never hurts!

Missing Vegas

Becki and Katie that I work with just got back from a wonderful trip to Las Vegas. Hearing them talk about it is making me want to go back to visit really bad! Vegas has to be my favorite travel destination. I always have a blast there. I would love to go back and see the Blue Man Group or another Cirque De Soliel show! Someday when I'm rich I'm going to visit Vegas at least twice a year. What I'd really love is to have enough money to have a vacation house there. I checked out the MLS listings for homes around Las Vegas. For sure out of my price range now but maybe if I hit it big on my next visit I could afford to buy one. Wishful thinking!
